How We Helped The Legacy School Build a Founding Class
BEFORE
The Legacy School is a brand new high school that opened in August 2023 in Cleveland, Ohio with a focus on college preparedness for historically underrepresented communities. Through immersive learning expeditions, The Legacy School helps students discover their true potential and build academic prowess with their project-based programs. While they were scheduled to open in August, they needed to enroll 25 students in order to open.
As a brand new school, effective recruitment and enrollment was critical for their success. Effct.org and Scholarlead partnered with The Legacy School to help build a strong founding student base.
AFTER
In the months leading up to their first day of school, Effct.org generated 94 leads for The Legacy School using a mix of SMS texting and Facebook advertising. These leads contributed to a strong founding class of over 50 students for The Legacy School. SMS texting was a cornerstone of our campaign, and delivered 65 parent leads from nearby districts and neighborhoods. Our Facebook campaign, on the other hand, generated an additional 29 leads for The Legacy School through paid content placements on the Facebook and Instagram platforms. Throughout our campaign, we reached over 14,000 parents and cultivated over 52,000 impressions for the Legacy School, establishing their brand with the local community.
