Effct helps campaigns win elections with digital. We're hiring outstanding people who are passionate about supporting candidates and initiatives focused on solving our world's most pressing issues. That includes voting reform, education, tobacco use reduction, climate change, nuclear security, economic inequality, pandemics, and AI safety, and amongst others.

 

Since 2017, we've helped more than a dozen campaigns achieve their goals. We also work with non-profit organizations and high impact companies in the private sector.

We're currently hiring for the full-time role of 
Digital Media Associate.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design multiple pieces of engaging, beautiful and effective creative for clients daily, including ads, emails and social posts.

  • Onboard digital clients to various ad platforms in a timely manner to ensure smooth digital ad planning and operations

  • Traffic digital ads across multiple platforms

  • Execute mass text messaging campaigns including drafting copy, sending messages and responding to inquiries.

  • Review, analyze, and report out the performance of multiple digital ad campaigns 

  • Optimize ad campaigns to target KPIs

  • Synthesize multi-channel ad data and optimization recommendations to draft and issue weekly performance reports

  • Brief clients on digital strategy, best practices and the performance of their digital ad campaigns

  • Stay up-to-date on the trends and best practices in digital advertising, and offer suggestions for new products and techniques

  • Strategize SEO and execution for sites before/after launch with tangible SERP results. Local and long-tail. Site crawls, evaluations and analysis to optimize user flow. 

  • Research and analyze keywords

  • Implement tracking and monitoring plans using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics dashboards.

  • Demand and keyword analysis

  • Facebook ad campaign development and optimization

Requirements

  • Outstanding design skills.

  • Strong work ethic, and willingness to have a growth mindset and learn new tools

  • Deep experience posting and interacting with people on social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter

  • 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing and advertising

  • Desire to be customer obsessed, and ensure clients are achieving their outcomes.

  • Bachelor's degree in political science, communications, marketing, advertising or a related field

  • Ability to think strategically and analytically

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Creative problem solver, self-motivated.

  • Communicate professionally and always through a strategic lens

  • Positivity and a drive to succeed

  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team, yet be comfortable running a project or task independently

 

Preferences

  • Thorough understanding of Facebook Business Manager and Facebook Analytics 

  • SEO campaign management (content, link building, technical optimizations)

  • PPC campaign management encompassing search, display, and youtube

  • Google Analytics set-up, tracking and reporting

  • Google Search Console

  • Google Tag Manager

  • MOZ / MOZ Local * Experience working inside or with a digital marketing agency as a partner

  • Understanding of technical website attributes (HTML tags, javascript, differentiating code IT implementations and CMS implementations)
