Houston Classical Charter School is a free public school with an engaging and personalized learning structure so each child gets the best education for a successful future. Houston students and families receive the support they need, including services like food banks and after-school care so they can achieve more and be successful while in class.
Houston Classical currently serves students in kindergarten, first grade and grade, but seeks to expand to add an additional grade each subsequent year, through 8th grade. Other goals include attaining a school bus, hiring a STEM teacher, and building an outdoor playground space. To achieve this, Houston looked to Effct to help boost enrollment and grow the Houston community.
In just a few months, Effct reached over 20k parents through lead generation and retargeting efforts, finding 40 plus quality parent leads for Houston Classical.

University Prep (U Prep) is a free charter school in the Denver Public Schools system. Its mission is to prepare their scholars for college and, most importantly, to pursue whatever dreams they may have.
U Prep has typically relied on traditional forms of outreach like door knocking, word of mouth, and mail pamphlets to meet its enrollment goals. This year, the realities of COVID -19 severely hindered their previous methods of outreach.
Our efforts have led to 95 families, 47% of all new U Prep student enrollments, across the city enrolling with U Prep. Not only will their children receive an outstanding education, but they also have the opportunity to pursue the life they dream of with the tools needed for success.

Meet Our Team
Co-founder and CEO
Nick is a former teacher with Teach For America in the Mississippi Delta, and The Fulbright Program in Colombia.
As a student at the University of Southern California, Nick tutored student athletes, which sparked his interest in education. In his free time, Nick likes to work out, journal, and read.
Uriel is a graduate of the University of Denver with distinction in Public Policy and Economics. He began his career as a credit risk analyst with Goldman Sachs and joined Effct in 2018, after working on tax and revenue policy with the Urban Leaders Fellowship.
Uriel has long been mentored by David Singer, the founder of University Preparatory Schools in Denver, CO. This close relationship with David led to an incredible partnership between U Prep and Effct.org.
When Uriel is not serving his clients, he is traveling, learning music, and riding bikes.
Digital Media Manager
Sean joined Effct after most recently serving as a Fulbright Scholar in Malaysia where he taught English. Prior to his year in Southeast Asia, he found his passion for digital media during a Freeman-Asia Scholarship at Mizuno Corporation in Osaka, Japan.
Sean is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University with a degree in International Business.
Sean dedicates his free time to mastering the Adobe Creative Suite and videography.
Digital Media Associate
Molly joined Effct.org after working as the Editing and Design Specialist for GreenPlay, LLC, a parks and recreation consulting company. She also launched and managed the YouTube channel for GreenPlay's nonprofit sector.
Molly graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.A. in Strategic Communication. She was a multiple time Academic All-American while competing on the University's track and field team and continues to train for the 2021 Olympic Trials.
Miles recently completed his Fulbright Scholarship in Taiwan where he also earned his Master’s. He also served as Student Body President at New College of Florida.
Miles brings outstanding video skills to our team. He produced an award-winning documentary short titled “Sincerely, The Black Kids” as a Fellow at the Sundance Institute.
